About eFileCheck

E-filing portals reject PDFs for reasons that are easy to fix but hard to find: a file a few megabytes too big, a legal-size page, a scan without searchable text. eFileCheck collects each portal’s published rules in one place and checks your file against them in your browser.

How we keep the data honest

• Every limit cites its source and the date we read it.
• If we can’t confirm a limit on an official page, we mark the portal unverified and state no limit.
• When official sources disagree, we show both and check against the stricter one.
• A daily job re-reads the sources in rotation, each at least once a week, and flags pages that changed.

We currently cover 105 portals. The full dataset is downloadable as CSV.
